NICE TO MEET YOU!

My career has been more of a jungle gym than a ladder, and I would not have it any other way.

My minor in psychology taught me about why people do the things they do, or don’t do….

Growing up surrounded by people living with disabilities got me thinking about accessibility from a young age.

Working in nonprofits for folks living with cancer taught me a lot about empathy.

Digital marketing for a scrappy vegan startup taught me how to translate insights into smart action.

Community building for a nutrition and health certification company showed me the value of truly listening to customer wants and needs.

Then, starting my own freelance website design business taught me about business…..and sales…..and marketing…..and stakeholder management….

oh, and of course, design!

I was always that girl that emailed a company when the UX was not great or a feature was not working the way it should ….

Like many people in UX design, when I discovered that this field existed, the lightbulbs started going off. You mean I get to blend my love for UI design with research and insights? Process and ideation? My left and right brain started firing on all cylinders. I immediately enrolled in a UX bootcamp, devoured all things UX/UI design, and eventually began implementing the UX process with my freelance design clients.

A FINAL HOORAH…

If you choose to hire me, I can promise that…

I’ll have an insatiable curiosity that will lead me to try new ideas and ways of thinking.

I'll have passion. I started Kinship Content as a passion project because the blending of design and helping people is in my nature.

I’ll translate my previous experience into new insights for the team, while listening and taking in from experienced UX designers above me.

I’ll be a team player, always.

Because cultural fit matters…

Things I like

MOUNTAINS, SKIING, AND CAMPING.

DOGGOS ALWAYS. FLOOFERS AND BAMBOOZLES ARE MY LOVE LANGUAGE.

TRAVEL, BEING AN EXPAT, AND broadening MY WORLD VIEW

MUSIC! IT IS A BIG PART OF WHAT MAKES ME, ME.

NUTRITION, HEALTH, AND EQUITABLE WELLNESS

DOING AN AWKWARD THUMBS UP IN PHOTOS.

PASTA. Lots of it.

Things I believe

IN POLITICS, POLICY AND intellectual diversity.

IN SELF EDUCATION!

THERE IS NO ONE WAY TO DO THIS LIFE THING.

FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY MEDICINE.

NO ONE CAN MAKE YOU FEEL SMALL, EXCEPT FOR YOU!

In accessibility AND EQUITY, and think it should be embedded into the design-thinking process from the start
